On Shaping
The Collapsing of All Possible Realities Surrounding The One We See
An essay on the collapsing of all possible realities around the one we make. Shaping, here, is the act by which a life narrows the field of what could be into the particular thing that is — every choice a small collapse, every made thing a possibility spent. The piece borrows the language of possibility and collapse to describe agency: to shape is to select, and to select is to close other worlds. It connects to On Being and On Remembering in treating resolution — the many becoming one — as the recurring signature of a life actively lived rather than merely undergone.
